Our journey begins in the 1960s, when our grandparents decided to buy a 19thCentury Manor Castle and the surrounding land.
Over the years, we’ve undergone many transformations, like the change from traditional plowing to tractors, but we’ve kept up our traditions, like drinking fresh milk and eating homemade cured meats and warm bread made from our own wheat.
We keep our traditions to celebrate our grandfather’s success in starting this journey nearly sixty years ago. .
In 1986, our parents – Giulio Cesare and Gianfranca – took on the responsibilities both of managing the farm and teaching us their great love for the land, as well as their enthusiasm for the unending story that connects the land to the people who work it.
Today, La Petrosa is a park, an agritourism site, a restaurant, a place where you can enjoy your holidays – whether in a castle, a renovated barn, a campsite, or a country house — and a place where everyone can express and enjoy themselves. .
